We Thank You!
Together we helped 65 Children with Dyslexia Read!
Our Inspiration

We have been inspired by the resilience and determination of a 10 year-old girl who has successfully learned to read, despite being diagnosed with dyslexia in kindergarten. Her struggles make her stronger and her persistence to overcome dyslexia continues. When provided the proper programs, proper implementation and consistent accommodations, every child with dyslexia can successfully read. Yet many simply are not afforded that opportunity.
Dyslexia is the #1 Learning Disability in our schools impacting nearly 20% of our students. Yet many students continue to be misidentified & misdiagnosed because Dyslexia is misunderstood still today. Dyslexia can be Overcome when students are given the proper reading programs, correct program timing and consistent classroom accommodations. Organizations like Learning Ally provide the specific programs to help our students with Dyslexia succeed in school, enabling them to reach their FULL potential while allowing them the Right to Read grade-level books.
The odds are you or someone you know has dyslexia...they are our children, our family and our friends. Their minds are the most creative & innovative and they are often the hardest working, most resilient people you know. They are our inspiration in creating this Campaign. This campaign is to honor them while helping them Overcome Dyslexia, through access to the proper programs.
In 2018 together we helped nearly 65 Children with Dyslexia across the USA gain access to a full year of Learning Ally's AudioBooks program & WE THANK YOU!

Procession of Saints
Click on an image to watch Video St. Mary Magdalen, the first Catholic Italian parish in the United States, was established in 1852 by Bishop John Neumann to meet the spiritual needs of Philadelphia's Italian immigrant community. It also met their social needs with its orphanage and school, and its Procession of Saints was an important celebration that brought everyone together. The procession from Saint Mary Magdalen de' Pazzi Church is known to have existed since at least the 1920's, and continues annually to this day with St. Paul's Parish. |
